Family sessions are an opportunity to play, laugh, snuggle up to one another. Gone are the days of cycling through various combinations of "freeze and cheese" at photo sessions.
My approach is really simple: just let you be together. Between school, work, sports and all life's other obligations, how often are we granted permission to forget about our phones and our Google calendars? Rarely.
This family session is your permission.
Let me document reality in a beautiful setting for you while highlighting the season of life you're in.
Family sessions are about more than just photos — they’re about capturing the love, connection, and little moments that make your family unique. My goal is to create a relaxed experience where everyone feels comfortable and your photos feel natural and genuine.
Below are answers to some of the most common questions families have before booking.
No. Every image in your gallery is personally edited by me using professional photo editing software. I do not upload client photos into AI platforms such as ChatGPT or other generative AI tools for editing, enhancement, or image creation.
Your images remain private and are edited by hand to reflect my artistic style and ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail. While I may use standard editing tools available within professional photography software, your photographs are never submitted to third-party AI programs for processing or training purposes.
Family sessions are relaxed and fun. Instead of stiff posing, I guide you through natural prompts that encourage connection and interaction.
This means we’ll capture things like:
• Walking together
• Kids snuggling into parents
• Laughing and playing
• Quiet moments between family members
The result is a gallery full of images that feel authentic and full of life.
Most family sessions take place outdoors in beautiful natural light locations in Central Texas, including:
Each location offers gorgeous natural backdrops and soft evening light that photographs beautifully.
Family sessions are usually scheduled about one hour before sunset, often called golden hour.
This time of day provides soft, flattering light that creates the dreamy look many families love.
Coordinated outfits photograph best, but you don’t need to match exactly.
I recommend:
• Neutral tones and soft colors
• Earth tones and pastels
• Avoiding large logos or busy patterns
• Choosing outfits that allow kids to move comfortably
After booking, you’ll receive a styling guide to help you plan your family’s outfits.
Kids don’t need to sit still or behave perfectly to get beautiful photos.
Some of the most meaningful images come from kids being themselves — running, laughing, cuddling, or even being a little silly. I keep sessions playful and relaxed so everyone feels comfortable.
